En Baños de Ebro( Rioja Alavesa), el saber hacer buen vino se transmite de generación en generación. Los hermanos Berzal cultivan con pasión el legado vinícola familiar con más de un siglo de historia.
Our history dates back to 1958, when all wine was sold in bulk. It was in 1980 when our first vintage wine was put on the market. But it was not until 1999 when Dominio de Berzal was given the label of crianza, creating the winery that we have today. Our father, José Luis Berzal Martínez, passed on his passion and essence to us from a very young age. And that is the teaching we want to give to future generations: the love for the land and the courage to pursue your own dreams.
Bodegas Dominio de Berzal is the dream of three brothers: José Luis, Juan Mari and Iñigo Berzal. Together we took over from our father and founded the current winery in 1999, located in Baños de Ebro (Álava), in the heart of Rioja Alavesa.
In addition to our union as a family, we share the same passion for wine, the land and its fruit. We consider ourselves to be innovative without losing our identity and we strive to improve every day, gathering the wisdom of the past, passed down from generation to generation. Traditions that have been shared in our family for more than a century.
